Oh, sis, how wonderful!! Great, great memories of all our summer camping trips. Waiting in line at Ludington State Park, swimming in the Big Lake, having sticky faces and fingers from marshmallows....gotta admit, we had great childhoods.
But one of the most fun things I can do on a weekend as an adult - and unfortunately get to do it far too infrequently - is work in your booth at a show. Your work is sooooo beautiful, and your customers are interesting women (who tend to have kind men in their lives that believe in the value of gold). We laugh. A lot. We are surrounded by beauty and good people....hmmm, sounds like our childhood summers after all....
Oh, I loved your sister Karens response so much, I have nothing to say! yes, me speechless! We all make and forge our lives and we all have the best. The beauty is that we recognize this!
Wow what a great reflection of time! Gotta admit, I didn't do family camping much in my childhood but the "trailer lust" is beginning to surface for me again. The last trailer we had was ten years ago. Some day soon we'll have to pack up a shiny Airstream and hit the highway for fun and adventure. Are you with me?
